It involves collecting and analysing all the relevant data about our employees, and using this information as input for our HR strategy; a strategy where we always put the best employee in the right place and in the right job, and continuously exceed our customers' expectations. As a senior people analytics manager, you take the lead.
This is how you proceed
formulate a clear vision on people analytics, and determine a roadmap for the organisation
build a team of experts that can put the vision into practice, and then you lead this team
create a link between HR business issues and all the possible solutions that data can provide, and make sure that quality reports are available to all stakeholders on time
promote collaboration between relevant departments, such as BI, Analytics and Technology
advise senior management on the basis of analyses and business cases. This helps you to put VodafoneZiggo on the map as an 'employer of choice, and keep it there
involve and manage the suppliers required to realise the people analytics roadmap
The sub business unit, People Program & Planning in Utrecht, part of HR. A unit where we work intensely on the integration of 2 fantastic companies, and where theres a lot going on. Here, you will immediately get to work as a senior people analytics manager with the creation of a new team in people analytics. The exact composition of this team will be largely decided by you. You create your own little party, according to your future manager, Ester van Eupen , head of People, Program & Planning. Everything within limits, of course, but you will also have a lot of freedom, space and responsibility to collect the best team of experts around you in the way you see fit, and really put your ideas into practice. Ester is available to provide you with all the support you require.

In-depth knowledge of people analytics and HR. You are a real high-flyer in this area. You have the drive to get others on board with your vision, and use this to realise and help realise strategic goals. You will be successful with this because, in addition to having sharp analytic and strategic skills, you are a self-starter with a solid personality; someone who combines thinking and doing in one breath, and can help a new team be successful in the broadest sense. For this job of senior people analytics managers at VodafoneZiggo, you also need:
An academic qualification (Master), such as engineering management, business IT, IT, maths, econometrics or other technical or economic course
At least 12 years of work experience in a large, complex organisation, with
at least 5 years experience in analytics
at least 2 years in people analytics
Demonstrable experience in applying all the potential of people analytics (such as dashboards & reporting, data visualisation tools) preferably in a multinational company. Knowledge of at least one advanced analytics tool (R, Python, SAS, SPSS Modeller) is a prerequisite
Excellent communication skills. You know how to present your plan clearly, and you have the capacity to take people with you
An entrepreneurial mentality. You don't give up easily, and you know how to get things done
