Help to drive the success of our new company via future focused and far reaching new standards and methods

Thus we serve high profile customers in sectors including paints, detergents, foods, plastics, cosmetics, construction, pulp and paper, pharmaceuticals, electronics, agro and oilfield applications.
SC's Industrial Chemicals (IC) business unit (BU) produces salt products, chlor-alkali products, chlorinated hydrocarbons (such as MCA), energy and DME. Within IC, the Advanced Manufacturing Department implements new and innovative technologies and methods to continuously improve operational processes.
Central to this process is a Management System that forms the basis for certification against internationally accepted standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 (ISO45001). Documents for the Management System are managed in the Controlled Document Management System (CDMS).
Within this context, your mission in this role is to lead and support in order to establish a standardized integrated Management System at a Company and Business Area level, and to make this available to subsidiary companies and sites. In doing so you also promote the highest standards of Knowledge Management (KM) in terms of creating, sharing, using and managing knowledge and information across the organization via a multi-disciplinary approach.
Is this a challenge that matches your profile as a motivating and results-focused leader and project manager with knowledge of Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems? Can you demonstrate a deep knowledge of Controlled Document Management Systems and the use of outsourced IT services? Have you acquired expertise in the area of Knowledge Management, along with a strong knowledge of production site operations? Above all, can you make a real difference within our dynamic, multinational and multicultural business environment?
If you offer all this and more, we invite you to apply for the position of

The role and its responsibilities
This complex and high profile role is based at our Global Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. From here you are responsible for a number of key activity areas:

Functional management of QA managers
You give direction to QA managers on the production sites and other departments, challenging them to maintain, measure and improve the performance of the QM system. In doing so you organize knowledge transfer activities, seek synergies between sites, and drive a mutual and standardized approach to QM. You also guide the site/functional QA managers with modifications in the Management Systems after changes in certification standards.
Manage the Controlled Document Management System
You secure the availability of an adequate CDMS, maintaining its operation and developing and implementing a replacement if necessary. Thus you specify functional criteria for the system and maintain contacts with internal and outsourced system support.
